Smoothie Recipe

Believe it or not, I prefer green juices to smoothies –  I know, crazy! ? Every once in a while I come up with a recipe that works for me and this is one of them, so I thought I’d share it with you. Smoothies allow for an easy way to get the recommended daily dose of fruits, nuts, essential fatty acids, protein, etc… It’s the only reason I have them at least four times a week. What’s your favorite smoothie recipe?

3 organic strawberries
4 pineapple cubes
1/2 organic banana
1 tbs organic flaxseed
1 tbs organic coconut oil
6 almonds
6 cashews
2 scoops of grass fed, organic whey protein powder
1 and 1/2 cups of water
A pinch of cinnamon + ginger
