Did you know taking a bath can greatly reduce stress?
Evelyn’s recommendation for the ultimate bath experience:
Light some aromatherapy soy/coconut candles and place them along side of the tub. Add a couple of river rocks next to the candles for dimension and beauty.
Next, select soothing spa music or whatever music that make you happy. Pour a desired amount of sea salt and essential oils under running water.
While you wait for the bath tub to fill, enjoy a hot cup of herbal tea or a refreshing glass of fruit infused water.
An added step: Put a hydrating face mask on as you relax in the tub, Don’t have a peel off mask? No worries, apply a quarter size amount of organic honey all over your face to hydrate and moisturize your skin. Pure and raw honey is best for topical application. Did you now honey also has antibacterial and anti-viral properties?
While in the tub, take deep, cleansing breaths. Enjoy the candles, music, tea and all the work you put into creating such a beautiful ambiance. You deserve it! #selfcare
After the bath, rinse any excess EO and sea salts from the skin and towel dry. Moisturize using your favorite all-natural body lotion.
Wash your face with cool water to remove the honey mask – you can wipe off mask residue with moist cotton pads/balls. Spritz your skin with a hydrating toner followed by a repairing serum and moisturizer.
Taking a bath is a great way to relax and soothe tired, sore muscles.
